Kantar Video hires Marc Gaccione as SVP, Business Development

Gaccione to oversee Publisher Relations for the Kantar VideolyticsTM Online and Mobile platform

NEW YORK — Kantar Video, a division of WPP’s insight, information and consultancy network Kantar, today announced that Marc Gaccione will join the company’s management team in the role of SVP, Business Development. In this position, Mr. Gaccione will be responsible for publisher relations as the company prepares for the global, industry-wide rollout of the Kantar Videolyticstm online and mobile video syndication, tracking and optimization platform.

Mr. Gaccione brings over 17 years of experience within the Entertainment, Digital Media production and Online Advertising industries. Most recently serving as Director of Channel Development for global rich media and video provider MediaMind, formerly Eyeblaster, Inc., Gaccione’s areas of expertise include management, sales, business development, strategic planning, project leadership, budgeting and forecasting. Prior to Eyeblaster, he was the founder of LOOKMEDIA, a New Media consulting firm specializing in network-based content production and delivery.

Gaccione joins an executive team that has been hand-selected for their expertise in technology-enabled, marketing-driven digital media businesses. The team reports to Kantar Video CEO, William A. (“Bill”) Lederer, an established digital media and technology senior executive with extensive experience in video, internet, TV, mobile, advertising/marketing and information services.

The Kantar Videolytics™ online and mobile video platform is currently in private beta with several major brands, agencies, media companies, and content creators and distributors.
