19 April, 2010

BRUSSELS — Hill & Knowlton today announced the appointment of Jeroen van Seeters (41) as CEO of Hill & Knowlton International Belgium s.a./n.v. and CEO of the Benelux Region as of 3 May 2010. Jeroen joins from his current role as CEO of Hill & Knowlton Netherlands.

Van Seeters is one of the most respected figures within Hill & Knowlton’s international network, with a proven track record of delivering on complex international assignments and leading experienced teams of sectoral and service experts. His appointment is a critical first step in bolstering Hill & Knowlton’s existing leadership team in Brussels, and will be accompanied by further senior public affairs hires in the near future. Jeroen will report to Sally Costerton, CEO and
Chairman, Hill & Knowlton Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and will sit on the firm’s EMEA Council.

Sally Costerton said: “In recent months I have spoken to clients, candidates and other senior
influencers about what they believe is missing on the Brussels scene. Without exception they have said that what they are looking for is a firm that can successfully connect policy and
communications issues to their business goals. Of all the people I have worked with in my career, I can honestly say Jeroen has few peers when it comes to his business focus and client- centric approach to consultancy. I am delighted that he has agreed to take up this important role within our global network. He is a truly exceptional leader of people with the ability to attract, develop and empower the best talent on the market”.

One of Jeroen’s first tasks will be to finalise the appointments of additional senior hires in public
affairs to join the existing leadership team in this area. These new hires will further enhance Hill &
Knowlton International Belgium’s fully integrated service offer that is crucial to a unique market
which covers Belgian PR, EU public affairs and pan-European corporate communications.”

Van Seeters: “I am excited by the prospect of working with the talented team in place and I am
delighted to announce the promotion of Glen Hodgson and Ulrich Adam to the Brussels management team. I also look forward to ensuring that clients of Brussels office have access to
the breadth and depth of expertise across our network.”

Costerton adds: “We have been very impressed by the number of top quality people who have
been interested in speaking to us. We will make further senior announcements with specific
expertise to support existing and future clients”.

Jeroen van Seeters is a Dutch national with almost 20 years experience in international
communications. He speaks Dutch, English, German, French and Japanese. He graduated in
