The Partners named Britain’s most creative company

London — The Partners has been named the most creative company in Britain by Design Week, beating global innovators including Apple and Virgin Atlantic to the top spot.

The Design Week Creativity Survey 2009 (pdf, 62Kb) measures the overall performance of consultancies and in-house design teams in prominent industry awards throughout 2009, including the Cannes Design Lions, D&AD and red dot Design Awards.

Jim Prior, CEO of The Partners, said: “We are passionate advocates for the use of creativity in strategic thinking and working with our clients to develop wholly original solutions to business problems. Throughout 2009 we have continued to innovate and diversify our work, and are thrilled to be recognised as this year’s creative leader.”

The results overwhelmingly show that The Partners, which has topped Design Week’s ‘All Awards’ chart for 11 years in its 20 year history, has experienced no recess in creative excellence through 2009.

The National Gallery Grand Tour
The Partners’ Grand Tour reproduced 44 of the most famous works from The National Gallery’s permanent collection and hung them on the streets of London, creating a hugely-popular outdoor exhibition, in answer to a brief to get more people to engage with the Gallery’s collection.

Office Games identity and poster
The Office Games is a fundraising event staged by children’s hospice, Richard House. Teams of corporate executives compete in Olympic-style events based on items or activities found in a typical office e.g. Floppy Discus, Post-it note relay.

• Graphis, Gold
• New York Art Directors, Bronze
• New York Festivals, Bronze

Mr Singh’s Bangras
Briefed to design the packaging for this range of Indian inspired sausages, The Partners went one step further and designed the sausages themselves. Elaborate, henna-like tattoos on the skins make these unmistakable on the grill.
