3 February, 2009
– Burson-Marsteller (B-M), one of Australia’s leading public relations consultancies, today announced two new business wins. The agency has added two National Foods brands to its roster and expanded its relationship with The Australian Lung Foundation.
“During this time of economic uncertainty, companies are looking at ways to invest in their brand and maintain stakeholder loyalty. B-M’s recent new business wins are testament that the role of public relations is more vital than ever. We are pleased to welcome these new clients and look forward to strategically working with them in this new, challenging climate,” said Brian West, Managing Director, Burson-Marsteller Australia.
New business with National Foods relates to the Baby Yoplait and Petit Miam brands. Initial work will involve media relations, strategic planning and stakeholder outreach.
Following a rigorous tender process, Australia’s premier lung health organisation, The Australian Lung Foundation, has extended B-M’s remit to encompass its entire communications program. Work will focus on increasing the profile of both lung disease and the Foundation’s brand, including government relations, media outreach and organisation of community programs.
B-M welcomes these new additions to its client portfolio which features major brands including LG Electronics, Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Accenture, SAP, Hewlett-Packard, Qualcomm, Reputex, sanofi-aventis, mcm entertainment, Robert Half and CSL Biotherapies. About Burson-Marsteller
