Ogilvy India’s 3rd Significant Industry Win in 7 days across Asia Pacific
— Ogilvy & Mather India led the EFFIES Awards as leading agency at last night’s EFFIE Awards function held at the Turf Club, Mumbai. Apart from the 3 Gold, 5 Silvers and 5 Bronze awards Ogilvy India won, it also took away most, if not all, the other special awards such as Brand Equity Bravery Award, the Marico Uncommon Sense Award and Agency of the Year award.
Ogilvy won 3 Gold, 5 Silver and 5 Bronze stacking up to 120 Points that won Ogilvy the title of EFFIE Agency of the Year.
Of particular interest is that Ogilvy India won on 7 clients, 8 brands and 10 campaigns in 5 categories across 3 cities. Ogilvy’s Delhi office won a Gold and 2 Silver and Ogilvy Hyderabad won a Silver and to top it all, Ogilvy won every one of its entries.
Ogilvy India won Agency of the Year with 120 points while the No 2 and No 3 positions were won with 50 and 45 points respectively. Clearly a huge lead by Ogilvy!!!
Vodafone won EFFIE CLIENT OF THE YEAR with a lead of 60 points while the 2nd best was at 40 points.
This past week has been a remarkable week for Ogilvy in India. Starting with Ogilvy Mumbai winning the Media Office of the Year trophy in Singapore, soon after which followed the Brand Equity No. 1 Ad Agency of the Year by the Agency Reckoner, and now the Effie Agency of the Year award.
