Mediaedge:cia taps industry vet to lead West Coast Digital operations

NEW YORK — Mediaedge:cia (MEC),, a leading media agency, has appointed Mark Yesayian to lead the agency’s West Coast digital practice. Mark will be based in Seattle and will report to Patrick Cartmel, Managing Director, MEC Interaction.

“Mark is a formidable addition to our North American leadership team and a huge asset to our West Coast operation,” said Lee Doyle, CEO, Mediaedge:cia North America. “It is vital that we continue to bring outstanding talent into our agency. Mark has extensive experience with digital marketing and top-level client management, across many communication platforms. He will continue to successfully drive integrated digital partnerships for our clients, and I am delighted to have him on board.”

In his position, Mark will continue to grow and develop MEC Interaction’s digital practice on the West Coast. He takes responsibility for the operation of Seattle office and will actively lead the client teams’ digital and emerging platform expertise in MEC’s San Francisco, Los Angeles and Irvine offices. As Managing Partner Head of Digital West Coast, he will also serve on MEC’s North American Executive Committee.

Mark joins from Ogilvy, San Francisco where he was a Senior Partner, Managing Director responsible for their clients Yahoo!, IBM/Info Print and Sony Playstation among others. He has over ten years experience of working with Fortune 500 clients across online media and marketing and has also held positions at agencies such as Acxiom Digital Impact and Digitas.
