Turner Entertainment teams up with OgilvyOne Hong Kong to launch ClubTuzki.com

Hong Kong — Turner Entertainment and OgilvyOne Hong Kong today announced the launch of www.ClubTuzki.com, the official website for Tuzki, the hugely popular animated rabbit created by Momo Wang.

Benjamin Grubbs, Regional Director of Turner Entertainment Interactive Media said, "OgilvyOne had some fantastic ideas to bring Tuzki to the next stage of its online development. The partnership also follows Ogilvy & Mather’s successful campaign for the Motorola Moto Q handset featuring Tuzki as its brand ambassador in China. Given Ogilvy’s understanding of the brand, it was a natural extension to work with the team again on creating Tuzki’s official website."

A popular icon of today’s net generation, Tuzki’s simple black and white line drawing of a bunny has helped bring communications on the internet to life. Millions of netizens are using Tuzki for instant messaging, social networking sites, emails and blogs to express their hidden feelings more directly via the emoticon’s quirky and humorous expressions.

The launch of www.ClubTuzki.com coincides with the launch of the book I, Tuzki, U? in China this month. In simplified Chinese, the 136-page book follows the highly successful debut of the traditional Chinese version earlier this year.

Tuzki was created by Momo Wang, a graduate from the Communication University of China’s Animation School. Its name is derived from an amalgamation of different languages and concepts, which included Mandarin and Russian, Wang’s favorite animal and novel.
