BMJ Group migrates to 24/7 Real Media to host display advertising technology

BMJ Group, a global medical publisher, has announced its successful migration from 24/7 Real Media US’s display advertising software, Open AdStream (OAS), to a hosted ad serving service provided by 24/7 Real Media UK.
Previously, BMJ Group’s display advertising software resided under the Highwire umbrella agreement with 24/7 Real Media US. HighWire Press is a division of the Stanford University Libraries, which produces the online versions of high-impact, peer-reviewed journals and other scholarly content. All BMJ Group journals content is hosted by HighWire. Now, the 24/7 Real Media UK platform will provide BMJ Group with the latest version of OAS, ensuring it can take advantage of OAS’s full functionality. A key feature of this modified relationship is that OAS will provide enhanced tools for behavioural and geo-targeting, enabling adverts to be targeted by city or postcode. It will also result in efficiency improvements for BMJ Group as the software can now better support its operational users, reducing the burden of campaign set-up.
