Grey Moscow appoints Larissa Plotnikova as Managing Director

Grey EMEA has announced the appointment of Larissa Plotnikova to the newly created position of managing director Grey Moscow. Effective 2 June 2008, Plotnikova’s brief is to build on the agency’s positive momentum, drive growth and uplift the agency’s creative. Plotnikova joins the Grey Moscow management team led by Alexey Kovylov, president, Grey Group Russia.
Plotnikova arrives with a formidable track record of building brands and businesses across disciplines for clients as diverse as Visa, Coca-Cola, Nokia, Baltika beer, Philip Morris, BAT, Siemens, L’Oreal, P&G and others. During the past six years she has held senior positions across leading agencies, joining Grey Moscow from BBDO Russia Group where she led the agency’s new business drive Previously she was group account director for Grey sister agency G2 and client services director at Y-Media.

Over the past few years Grey’s Russian agency, under the leadership of Alexey Kovylov has recorded 100% growth with major new assignments from Fortis, Visa, P&G, GSK, Mercedes Benz, BAT, Wimm Bill Dann and Efes Brewery.
It was among one of the first international agencies to enter the Russian market and manages some of Russia’s biggest brands including global brands such as Pantene, Fairy, Lenor, Mr Proper, Coldrex, and Visa as well as strong local brands like Domik v Derevne, Vesjelyi Molochnik, Ingosstrakh and Belyi Medved.
Grey Moscow is the only Russian agency to be voted Agency SuperBrand of the Year two years running (2005 & 2006) and land three to four Effies annually for both global and local brands. Meanwhile, the agency’s creative is gaining local and international recognition. It is currently ranked fourth among creative agency network in Russia landing awards at the Portoroz, Moscow and Kiev festivals as well as the best outdoor campaign of the year in Russia.
