Spafax and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts team up to re-launch Fairmont Magazine

– Spafax, one of the world’s leading providers of custom media today announced a partnership with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, a leader in the global hospitality industry, that will see it assume editorial, production and publication responsibility for the luxury hotel group’s customer publication, Fairmont Magazine. The inaugural issue of the new look
publication is scheduled to debut in March 2009, followed by a major re-launch issue and event in September 2009.
Produced bi-annually, Fairmont Magazine celebrates the memorable and timeless spirit of the Fairmont brand and its place in the world. Distributed in all Fairmont guestrooms portfolio-wide, a fresh, new mix of editorial will headline the redeveloped Fairmont Magazine, astutely showcasing the sophisticated elegance and sense of place that defines Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Placing greater emphasis on emotive content and other innovative approaches will enable Spafax to more fully characterize Fairmont and bring its luxury brand to life, creating a publication that will resonate with its affluent, loyal and well-traveled guests.
Readers will “enter” the magazine through “The Lobby”, a dynamic front-of-the-book section featuring news, engaging tidbits and columns from around the globe. Deeper inside, guests
will find striking photography and editorial mirroring the stylish décor of guestrooms – comfortable, entertaining sanctuaries that celebrate the best the world has to offer. Feature articles will contain a variety of content, from lifestyle and travel to culture and adventure, while also showcasing Fairmont’s pioneering commitment to responsible tourism, its enduring connection to the local communities in which it operates, and its focus on providing healthy lifestyle options for guests and colleagues alike.
