A wave of promotions at Wunderman Canada

Recognizing the bench strength of its leadership in Canada, Wunderman Chairman and CEO Daniel Morel announced a wave of promotions that are effective immediately designed to continue the agency’s longstanding stronghold in the market.
- John Wright, who has served as EVP, director of Integrated Marketing since 2005, is promoted to president, responsible for managing Wunderman Canada’s resources, ensuring peak performance and maintaining the agency’s high quality standards. Wright succeeds Trish Wheaton who is appointed agency chairperson and remains on assignment as COO of Wunderman UK. Wright reports to Wheaton.
- Susan Moore, EVP, director of Account Service and 10-year veteran of the agency, is promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Wunderman Canada. In this role, Susan will continue her focus on client leadership and leveraging the Wunderman network resources to deliver value across the Canadian client base. Moore reports to Wright.
“Both John and Susan are passionate marketers with years experience on both the ‘client’ and ‘agency’ sides of our business. They are experts in business-to-consumer and business-to-business marketing, which is vital as a senior counselor for our Fortune 500 client base,” said Morel. “Susan’s insight into account service will serve her well as COO and is the perfect complement to John’s clear direction and decisiveness,” Morel added.
John joined Wunderman Canada in 2005 to lead the integration of its CRM capabilities and provide his marketing expertise to Ford of Canada, Jaguar and Land Rover responsibility for leading the relationship with Rogers Communications Inc. was quickly added to that list. For the past 10 years, Susan has led a wide number of the organization’s largest accounts and has played an integral role in the agency’s new business success.
