VML acquires Studiocom

VML, a WPP company based in Kansas City, Missouri, and one of the world’s leading marketing technology companies, announced today that it acquired 80% of the outstanding stock of Studiocom, an Atlanta-based digital marketing agency. An industry innovator, Studiocom is a creative-driven agency specializing in online product launch and branded entertainment. It has also developed a proprietary online multi-player gaming platform that delivers interactive brand experiences for Fortune 500 clients.
According to Matt Anthony, VML CEO, the opportunity to acquire Studiocom made perfect sense for VML. Studiocom will operate as an independent unit, headquartered in Atlanta, with offices in Los Angeles and Bogotá, Colombia. Studiocom employs more than 55 people.
