Launch of 360Advantage

'Tapping the best in political campaign and issues management thinking from across the political spectrum, Burson-Marsteller and Quinn Gillespie & Associates today announced the launch of a new public affairs advocacy advertising organization called 360Advantage, www.360advantage.com. It will be led by Russ Schriefer and Stuart Stevens, two of the leading advertising and campaign strategists from the Bush-Cheney ’04 re-election campaign.

'For over 20 years Russ Schriefer has been a successful political strategist and media consultant. Managing and consulting on campaigns at every level, he has helped elect governors, U.S. senators and dozen’s of members of Congress. As program director for the 2004 Republican National Convention he was credited with reinventing the modern national political convention. The New York Observer called the event "the most meticulously produced campaign convention ever televised and perhaps the most successful." In addition, Schriefer has worked at the national level for four presidential campaigns including the 2000 and 2004 Bush-Cheney campaigns where New York Magazine named Schriefer "one of George W. Bush’s main image-makers." Schriefer has also consulted and lectured on politics and media in the United States, Russia and Cambodia.

'Stuart Stevens is one of the nation’s most successful political strategists and media consultants. Over the past eighteen years Stevens has been the lead strategist and media consultant for some of the nation's toughest political campaigns and was called "a legendary ad man" by the Washington Post for his work on the 2000 Bush-Cheney presidential campaign. He also co-produced the HBO series "K Street", and wrote the first episode of the Emmy winning show "Northern Exposure". He is also a frequent contributor to the New York Times, Esquire, Outside Magazine, Men’s Journal and has written and published five books. Stuart has gone on to help elect more governors and U.S. senators than any other current Republican media consultant.

'In addition to their work in the U.S., Schriefer and Stevens have consulted on several landmark international campaigns including Vaclav Havel’s first campaign for Czech president as well as presidential campaigns in Nigeria, the Philippines and the Congo.
