Interactive agency launched

CommonHealth today announced the launch of Qi Interactive, the organization's new, full-service digital agency. The emphasis of the new unit will be on interactive and Web-based solutions that help clients drive brand performance both in the online space and through professional healthcare media.

Qi (pronounced kee) Interactive, whose tag line is "Ideas That Move Your Brand™," offers clients the ability to take an interactive campaign from the research phase (determining physician and patient behavior and attitudes online), through the planning, development, ongoing-maintenance and ROI-assessment stages.

The unit launches with a cache of proprietary online research tools. With PeerSight™, PatientSight™, MDTalk™ and PatientTalk™, online behaviors, as well as the overall attitudes and behaviors of physicians, HCPs, patients and caregivers, are revealed. Qi Interactive clients will also be afforded the ability to assess the overall structure of the online space in key markets and therapeutic arenas through Qi's NetWatch™ process.

Jim Clifford, tenured with CommonHealth for 15 years, will serve as head of the new unit while continuing his responsibilities as Group Company chairman, CommonHealth. Qi Interactive offerings also include a 24-hour hosting service, multimedia and 3-D animation capabilities, the building of both Web sites and online Web site suites, and developing applications that run on both desktop and laptop, PDA, CD-ROM and the Web. The unit offers a wide variety of productivity tools as well, including online brand-information libraries, Finders, organizing and scheduling systems, rep extenders and pharmacoeconomic and dosage calculators. Qi also provides distance and interactive education for sales representatives, physicians and patients through a turnkey "Teaching and Training™" service.
