Asia Pacific management changes

Research International today announced that Hamish Munro moves from the position of CEO, Taiwan to CEO, Hong Kong and Regional Business Development Director. Daniel Shum, currently CEO, Hong Kong will be the new CEO, Taiwan.

Heather Payne, CEO of RI Asia Pacific says of the management changes "This is a move designed to strengthen our Asia Pacific network and to build on the recent growth we have achieved here. Our experience shows us that senior management moves within our network helps to share knowledge and assist in delivering a seamless offer to clients across the region."

Hamish has lived and worked in Sydney, Jakarta, Singapore and Taipei and has experience in both qualitative and quantitative research across the region. His main experience has been gained in ad and brand tracking; brand re/positioning; product development/testing/launch; ad pre and post testing; and communication development. He comments on the move: "I am excited about joining the Hong Kong office and feel this is a great opportunity. It demonstrates RI's investment in and development of local talent and the AP region".

Daniel, with over 10 years of market research experience, specializes in brand image and positioning research and customer satisfaction measurement. Before joining RI, Daniel worked for Wirthlin Worldwide Asia, a corporate and communications research consultancy and Burson-Marsteller. He states "I am greatly looking forward to the challenge of working in Taipei. We enjoy strong relationships with our clients in Taiwan and I hope my experience can help to build on this."

These changes will be effective from 5th July.
