Ford of Japan joins JWT

J. Walter Thompson announced today that Ford Japan has chosen J. Walter Thompson to handle its advertising/communications business. Effective July 1, 2004, JWT Tokyo will take the over reins on this account in the world's second largest automotive market. The account was previously handled by Hakuhodo.
This is an especially significant win in that it represents the last Asian market to align with JWT. JWT now partners with Ford across the 12 Ford Asia Pacific markets - and over 50 countries worldwide - leading to new levels of communication effectiveness and efficiency for Ford throughout the region.
