Red Cell Names Andy Berlin CEO
23 January, 2004
Andy Berlin, chairman of Berlin Cameron/Red Cell in New York and, until now, co-chief executive officer of WPP’s Red Cell network, has been named chairman, chief executive officer of Red Cell.
Berlin will maintain his client and managerial responsibilities at Berlin Cameron/Red Cell as he continues his oversight of Red Cell. The move follows a decision by Lee Daley, formerly co-chief executive and chief strategy officer of Red Cell to step down from his position. Daley remains with the company to work through a transition period.
"Lee has made an outstanding contribution in building and shaping Red Cell into a more exciting and competitive network. Lee was an energetic and inspiring leader for Red Cell. All of us who worked closely with him regret that Lee decided to leave," said Berlin. "Because of the value of Lee’s contributions, I’m confident that Red Cell will continue to build on the successes that we’ve shared together. This is an important change but it also represents strategic continuity. I’ll miss Lee at Red Cell. But he’ll remain a great friend."
