Ogilvy launches China corporate website
23 April, 2001
In a move consistent with its rapid expansion in China, the Ogilvy group today launched its new corporate web site for mainland China. The web site is located at www.ogilvy.com.cn.
The new web site allows clients, friends and colleagues to view cutting-edge work created by the Ogilvy group. Case studies explain how Ogilvy's proprietary 360 Degree Brand Stewardship approach works in practice, bringing together Ogilvy's four disciplines -- advertising, public relations, interactive and direct marketing – to build, nurture and develop brands in China.
The site also provides recent articles and viewpoints by leading visionaries at Ogilvy. In addition, a profile of founder David Ogilvy lays out the company's culture and business philosophy - in his own words.
The web site has been designed in-house by Ogilvy Interactive and has both Chinese and English versions. The purpose of the site is to serve as a resource for Ogilvy’s clients, employees, and other industry professionals, and to further Ogilvy’s dedication to customer relationship management.
“Our new web site shows we are practicing what we preach. The site will provide an additional communication channel for us to share information with clients and potential clients and to create a dialogue with them,” said TB Song, chairman, Greater China for the Ogilvy group.
“This site is a reflection of our more than 10 years experience in China,” he added. “During these years, we have accumulated rich experience that we want to share with the greater Ogilvy community in China. Our vision for this site is to provide ‘online training’ to more people through disseminating the Ogilvy spirit and culture, sharing Ogilvy’s viewpoints, resources, knowledge, and our unique 360 brand stewardship,” further explained Mr. Song.
