Established in 1973, WHPR is today part of the Ogilvy PR network, which is part of WPP, one of the largest communications groups in the world.
In Ireland, WHPR has consistently ranked among the top three public relations consultancies. Today, we employ 37 full time PR executives and three specialist consultants.
WHPR has a blue-chip client list which includes companies / brands such as adidas, Guinness, Smirnoff, Marks & Spencer, Aer Lingus and the Quinn Group. The client list also include a number of Ireland’s top public and private companies and semi-state organisations, as well as many top international corporations and professional firms.

WHPR is a founder member of the Public Relations Consultants Association adhering to the highest professional standards and codes of ethics for our industry. Our business operations and standards have been independently audited and approved by the PRCA Consultancy Management Standard.
In 2006, WHPR won the Supreme Award for Excellence in Public Relations at the PRCA Awards for its work on the Guinness All-Ireland Hurling Championship campaign. This was only the fourth time in fourteen years that this award has been presented. Over the past five years, WHPR has won seven ‘overall’ PR Excellence Awards and received 39 ‘highly commended’ citations.
