Consejeros de Negocios was established in 1992 as a result of a crisis in the energy sector, or the Empresa Electrica de Guatemala, S.A. In 1994, after an equity negotiation with Young & Rubicam, we decided to take on all lines of business of the group, our strong background, and the potential of the Central America market, we officially signed an affiliate contract with Burson-Marsteller. We are proud to be the first Pubic Relations office in the country.When the company opened in 1992 it had two employees. Today Burson-Marsteller Guatemala employs communications experts in such areas as Technology, Healthcare, Public Affairs and Corporate.Our rapid success is the result of our professionalism, ethics, and having pioneered public relations in Guatemala. Another strength is the fact that we have correspondent offices throughout Central America and can offer support in Honduras.
