Hill+Knowlton Mexico worked with P&G to promote the Safeguard brand foaming antibacterial hand soap – during Global Hand Washing Day. Safeguard also runs a program to educate children in 20,000 schools in Mexico about proper hand-washing techniques, to reduce the occurrence of diseases like diarrhea and respiratory infections.
To generate a greater impact within the “Global Hand Washing Day”, Safeguard as a cofounder of this celebration, made an alliance with the Mexican Ministry of Health to spread the message of how to wash hands properly through a comedy play.
During the launch event, Safeguard taught about the correct hand washing and conveyed the key message that children had the mission to break the chain of germs in just one wash.
More than 2 MM impacts directly generated by H+K. Safeguard raised awareness about the consequences of germ transfer and positioned itself as the expert that breaks the chain of germs in just one wash.
