WPP tops the WARC Media 100 List for the seventh year running

  • Mindshare, EssenceMediacom and Wavemaker take spots in the top five networks listing
  • Mindshare New York crowned agency of the year
  • WPP agencies responsible for a third of the top 100 media campaigns

WARC’s Media 100 List 2024 today named WPP media company of the year for the seventh time in a row.

Mindshare, EssenceMediacom and Wavemaker all featured amongst the top five media networks, while Mindshare New York took the top agency honour.

Wavemaker Mumbai, Mindshare Mumbai, EssenceMediacom London, Mindshare London, EssenceMediacom Mumbai, EssenceMediacom New York and Mindshare Shanghai also ranked in the top 20 agencies listing.

WPP agencies were responsible for media in a third of the campaigns named in the Media 100 and nearly half of the top 20, with Pre-Loved Island for eBay (EssenceMediacom London), #TurnYourBack for Dove (Ogilvy London, DAVID Madrid and Mindshare London) and Thumbstopping Beauty Bias for Dove (Mindshare Mumbai) all featuring in the top five.
