Where am I?
The sky is bright blue. The sea laps at the edge of the lawn. You try to remember what other place Stream reminds you of, and you can’t quite place it.
And they you realise. The orientation centre. The laid back, campus atmosphere. The bright blue sky and green grass.
It feels just like Second Life.
Second Life too is full of early adopters.
Everyone there is tech-savvy.
The avatars are from all over the world.
Stream is the same.
Except that the beer is genuinely cold.
And the other avatars want to talk to you about digital media trends, not sex.
